Holland House is a Christian charity that seeks to encourage everyone who would like to come to share this sacred space.
We therefore try hard to keep our prices balanced between what we need to support the House, and what is reasonable for guests to pay – it’s a mutual commitment “where your heart is, there your treasure is also.” (Matthew 6.21, Luke 12.34)
Please note, before booking do please consider taking out insurance against the possibility of you having to cancel. Holland House has a very fair cancellation policy, much more so than most hotels and events. However, we’re aware peoples circumstances can change rapidly and without warning close to the time of arrival. Holland House cannot take account of such occasions and will be applying our Terms and Conditions in every case. Therefore do please consider taking out travel insurance before booking – individual insurance for a single trip can be as little as £6.00 for over £3500 of cover.
Covid Policy: If we are unable to fulfil our obligations due to Government Guidelines making it impossible for us to do so, or impossible for you to visit, we will refund your deposit or other charges in full (or carry them over to an alternative date – what-ever is most helpful to you). Other than that our usual terms and conditions apply.
Week days: £20 per person per night ( e.g. 3 night stay = £60 deposit)
Weekend: £50 per person per weekend
Non-residential day visitors: £5 per person
These will be deducted from your final bill and are non-refundable.
Day events on the programme: Pay full price via the website tab “Events & Shop”.
Please note that all bookings, including those made on-line, incur a non-refundable deposit in line with our cancellation policy
TARIFFS for 2020 e&eo
Midweek (Mon – Thurs): per 24hrs £90. This includes Dinner, Bed and Breakfast, Lunch, complimentary Morning coffee & biscuits and Afternoon tea and cake, with the exclusive use of one meeting room.
48hr weekend stay: £200. Arrivals from 4pm on Friday and departures by 5pm Sunday. Includes all of the above. Half a weekend (24 hrs): £120
Day Visitors (Mon – Fri): £30. Arrivals from 9.00am and departures by 5.00pm. This includes refreshment on arrival or at 10.30am, a two course lunch, afternoon tea and cake and exclusive use of one meeting room.
Day Visitors (Sat – Sun): £35
Please note: Additional meal charges when added onto a residential retreat: Breakfast £7, Lunch £14, Dinner £20.
Celebration meals (lunch or dinner): from £35. Do please contact us if you’d like to celebrate a special event with a meal at Holland House. We have some set menus to choose from and a well-stocked bar. We can cater for up to 50 people, subject to availability. Further information can be found by clicking on the link Food leaflet 2019 .
Exclusive use of the whole House: Holland House can be booked for weekend of exclusive use for a minimum charge of £5,400.
Bursaries: If you are very keen to come but are unable to afford the cost there are limited bursaries available – please write to the Warden via firstname.lastname@example.org
Long term bookings ahead
Holland House has bookings for up to two years ahead, and some dates and weekends get booked quickly in advance. If you’d like to reserve a date for a booking more than 12 months ahead we ask for a £100 holding deposit. We promise to keep the date for you so you can rest assured you have your reservation. We will email you for the full deposit 12 months before you come, and the £100 will be deducted from this figure.
