The first Thursday of every month offers the chance to spend a lovely day working in one of the most beautiful gardens in Worcestershire.
Holland House has over 3 acres of gardens; formal area’s created in the 1920’s Edwardian style, wild area’s left to natures own delightful designs, a large walled kitchen garden, herbary and rose garden, all bordered on one side by the River Avon. Head Gardener Patrick Swan (M.I.Hort) will be on site all day with a variety of tasks for us to carry out in order to keep these precious garden and grounds in tip-top condition.
If you’d like to come along please book a place using this event page which will help us keep tabs on the number of volunteers available to us, and also help cater for you as Holland House will prepare everyone a sandwich lunch ! If you have one or two lightweight garden tools (typically trowel, secateurs, garden gloves etc) bring them if you can.
We begin at 10.00am and complete no later than 4.00pm, although any time you can offer in between is very much appreciated.
We look forward to seeing you in the garden soon!
