The very popular “Richard Rohr” weekend is once again being offered by Holland House, this time exploring both the theory and the practice of contemplative prayer. Using two of Rohr’s books on the topic (‘Dancing Standing Still’ & ‘Simplicity – The Freedom To Let Go), Revd Ian Spencer, Urs Mattmann and Dorothy Littlewood will lead the retreat drawing on Rohr’s Franciscan insight, along with their own spiritual experience as dedicated practitioners of the contemplative tradition. As always these retreats are designed for engagement in discussion and practice as well as listening, along with legendary Holland House hospitality. It will be a wonderful weekend to complete the year – do come, and book early to avoid being placed on the waiting list!
Arrivals from 5pm on Friday in time for supper at 6pm, concludes at 10.30 on Monday, with the option to stay for Holy Communion at 11.00am (finishing by 12 noon latest)
