Yoga for devotion – Devotion involves the movement of the heart toward the beloved, seeking closer and more intimate union. The root meaning of the word yoga is “union” or “to join with”, and therefore yoga has always been used by those seeking to deepen their experience of the Divine – the path of Bhakti yoga.
The day will comprise of asana (postures that everyone can access), breath-work and meditation practice, and will be lead by the Warden of Holland House and qualified Hatha Yoga teacher, Revd Ian Spencer.
09.30am arrival for 10.00am start (prompt). The day completes at 4pm. Some yoga mats are available if required.
Includes refreshments and vegetarian lunch.
