Description
This silent retreat will take as its theme devotion to the Heart of Jesus and how this can deepen our relationship with the Lord. Based on a book John-Francis wrote with the same title as this retreat and published by Canterbury Press in 2024 there will be five Addresses and a time of Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament each evening which retreatants are welcome, but not expected, to attend.
John-Francis was an Anglican Franciscan for 25 years and is now a member of the Third Order of the Society of St Francis. He was a parish priest and underwent training on the Ignatian Spirituality Course, teaching at the London Centre for Spiritual Direction for ten years and is a published author. Apart from writing he continues to offer priestly ministry, spiritual direction and pastoral supervision and lives in south-east London. Heart of my own heart , to be published in Autumn 2024, will be his sixth work.
