In conjunction with Evesham Festival of Words

The chef’s choice of a two course set lunch (we can cater for vegetarian diets, but if you have any other dietary requirements please contact us before you book) will be followed by a talk from Tony Condor entitled ‘Ups and Downs of the River’

The Severn Bore has delighted or frustrated viewers over centuries, the tidal phenomenon is not only found on the Severn however. This talk looks at the bore worldwide, then concentrates on the Severn tide, where the wave comes from, how people use it and view it, the shape and changing nature of the river, it’s channels, floods and banks. This is a celebration of one of England’s great natural free events.

Arrivals from 12.30pm, lunch will be served at 1pm
